Calendario Delle Maree

Apart from being a means of transport, boats on water can help you gauge the flow of tides and depth of water from their movements. Calendario delle Maree is a simple device through which to make sense of the relationship between depth and surface.

Participants were invited to take one of the square sheets of paper, cut from a Venetian 'tide-time' calendar, fold it into an origami gondola and to take it outside onto the water.
